The Papacy and the East

Alongside his many Letters, speeches, homilies, travels and symbolic gestures dealing with the Christian East, the Pope gave a series of Angelus addresses in which he explicitly invoked the East and its irreplaceable gifts to the Universal Church. Here are some excerpts from these papal messages:
